Atlas of Flora Pavilion

This pavilion reflects on the possibilities of creating an ecosystem within an urban void. In this sense, the proposal seeks to bring together different agents in order to generate a diverse and pleasant public space that improves the thermal comfort of the site.

The project connects the existing façades of Plaza del Rey in San Fernando transversally with a series of public architectures that catalyse ecosystem interaction, creating urban spaces where birds, flora, and humans coexist together. The selection of flowers and green pockets is strategically arranged to generate evaporative cooling and enhance thermodynamic comfort throughout the plaza.
